Nimbus® It is the series of new generation lightning rods with electronic device PDC for the advance of priming (ESE - Early Streamer Emission). Coverage radii of up to 100 m (depending on emission times 15 μs, 30 μs, 45 μs, 60 μs). Complies with NF C 17-102: 2011, UNE 21186: 2011, CTE SU 8 standards.
Electronic technology PDC/ESE, unlike passive faradization systems with lightning points, it actively uses the atmospheric gradient to generate such ionization that it allows increasing the height of the point of lightning strike, which increases the protected volume. This facilitates the protection of large areas, simplifying and reducing material and installation costs.

The new lightning rods nimbus® exceed the requirements of the new version of the NF C 17-102 v2011 standard, with the aim of providing them with greater robustness, without sacrificing a compact size and a notable weight reduction.

To guarantee the correct operation of a lightning rod with this technology, require PDC lightning rod with Bureau Veritas product certification and test certificates according to NF C 17-102: 2011 and UNE 21186: 2011, by a laboratory accredited by the regulatory body (p. eg ENAC-Spain, COFRAC of France).
