Lightning Rod PDC (ESE)
The PDC Lightning Rod (ESE) is a state-of-the-art lightning rod, which incorporates an electronic device PDC for the advance of Priming (ESE. Early Streemer Emission)
The difference between the height where the tracer of a Franklin tip reaches and the tracer of an active lightning rod (PDC) is called PRIME ADVANCE or PRIME ADVANCE TIME (AT)
PDC technology makes use of the atmospheric gradient to generate an ionization such that it allows increasing the height of the point of impact of the beam, which increases the PROTECTED VOLUME.
This facilitates the protection of large AREAS, simplifying and reducing material and installation costs.
Standards UNE 21186, CTE SU8, NFC 17-102, UNE-EN 50164, IEC 61024-1
NIMBUS lightning rods have been tested according to UNE 211186 and NFC 17-102 and certified by LCOE (Laboratory accredited by ENAC)
